Rosie the corn snake came to visit our classroom this week (We originally planned to have her visit during our Zoo Theme Week, but she had other plans... did you know that snakes hibernate?!) It was very informative to have Mr. Art talk about Rosie and explain to the students about how snakes eat, grow, and live. The students each had the opportunity to pet Rosie (only if they wanted too) and also touch some of the snake skin. Some of the students were FASCINATED by her and even talked about wanting to get a snake for a pet! Are you ready for that moms?!?
