Easter Triumph, Easter Joy!

Easter is a wonderful time of the year when we celebrate what our Savior has done for us by forgiving our sins by dying on the cross!  What an amazing gift!  We spent the week learning all about Jesus' love and sacrifice for us,  but we also did many different fun Easter activities... Check them out!

Easter egg letter match-up... Easter eggs with uppercase and lowercase letters written on them.  It was fun to match them up and then find what small item started with that sound.  Can you guess what letter egg this student is holding??!!

Jelly Bean graphing!  How can math and graphing be fun you ask??!! By adding delicious jelly beans!  The students enjoyed sorting the jelly beans, counting them, coloring the correct number of squares, discussing which color had the most/least, and most of all loved eating some when we were all done.  Math made DELICIOUS!

Coffee Filters.... not just for coffee!  The students really enjoyed watching the liquid watercolors run together on the filters when they painted them.  We finished each filter off with the three crosses and talked about why there were three and not just one for Jesus.  These turned out as beautiful sun catchers!
